IAAPA postponing Brass Ring Awards to 2021

While the IAAPA Expo will take place Nov. 16-20, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, IAAPA has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 IAAPA Brass Rings Awards to next year. The Brass Ring Awards are one of the highlights of IAAPA Expo. With the understanding that IAAPA members have had to push or postpone capital investment projects, new ride openings and marketing campaigns this year, and for this reason, the Excellence Awards for Games and Merchandise; Family Entertainment Center (FEC); Human Resources; Marketing; Food and Beverage;  and Live Entertainment have all been postponed.

Because of this decision, IAAPA is extending the eligibility period to qualify for a 2021 Brass Ring Excellence Award to September 2019 – August 2021. Excellence from the trade show floor will still be highlighted as the Exhibitor Awards for Best New Product and Best Exhibit will still take place. Applications can be submitted here.

IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards, IAAPA Service Awards and the IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award will go on as planned. Nominations are currently open and 2020 winners will be announced at IAAPA Expo.
