Brussels, Belgium — Winner of Thea Classic Award in Los Angeles, Puy du Fou celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Grand Parc, a historical theme park created in 1989 in Les Epesses in France. For this occasion Puy du Fou called Koert Vermeulen and ACT lighting design creative team to completely redesign the lighting concept of Cinéscénie, the world’s biggest night-time show with its 1,200 actors and a natural stage of 23 hectares.

ACT used their expertise of big stage events along with new custom made lighting equipment and specific lighting programming techniques to express the poetry and messages of the story through an elaborated lighting embellishment.

This new creative lighting concept was based on several lighting layers and meticulous details of the performances. In order to offer the most spectacular effects increasing the expressiveness of the story, ACT highlighted the artistic performances and produced a great visual impact all over the site, while respecting the requirement of very low energy consumption.

This exceptional live spectacle comparable with a painting in motion supported by 3200 passionate volunteers will tell its heroic story, surprise and move its public on each evening of every summer weekends, starting with a big opening on 8th of June, until 14th of September.
