Aquatic Development Group Brings First Mountain Coaster to Ozarks

Branson, MO, USA — Leading expert in recreational environments, Aquatic Development Group (ADG), has designed and installed the first mountain coaster in North America’s Ozark Mountains.

The $5 million ‘Runaway Mountain Coaster’, now open at Branson Mountain Adventure Park, was created to turn the park’s steep terrain into a major unique attraction.

“The way it goes through the woods and stays close to nature, it’s a different experience than your typical coaster,” explained Matt Meadows, Project Manager, Branson Mountain.

Designed to suit almost any mountainside location, ADG’s MountainsidesTM  makes the most of the local topography to create an authentic mountain coaster experience. Riders in two-person carts are pulled up the mountain and then released to travel downhill.

Using ADG’s patented breaking system, each cart is driver controlled giving the guest the ability to enjoy the scenic mountainside view at their own desired speed.

“From ages three to ninety-three, 100% of the guests who rode ‘The Runaway Mountain Coaster’ loved the ride- it was unanimous!” said Meadows.
