ADG Mountain Coaster to be Key Component of Branson Mountain Adventure Park

Cohoes, NY, USA (March 23, 2016) — ADG (Aquatic Development Group, Inc.) announced today that the ADG Mountain Coaster has been selected as the premiere attraction for the brand new Branson Mountain Adventure Park to be built in the Ozark Mountains, MO.  Scheduled opening is for this summer, 2016.

This is the first downhill mountain coaster to be built in the Ozarks.  The new 80-acre park will feature the Mountain Coaster as its grand opening attraction with future plans for additional attractions to be added over the next 3-5 years.

Branson chose ADG’s Mountain Coaster specifically for its ability to combine a thrilling ride experience with a superior design and construction process.  ADG prefabricates its mountain coaster track system in-house at its headquarters in upstate NY.  Their exclusive pre-fabricated modular track design allows for fast and accurate installation, engineered to fit the exact topography of the mountain terrain.

The Branson coaster will be incorporated into a hillside along Highway 165 – an area not easy to develop due to the steep incline, but is perfectly suited for the ADG Mountain Coaster.

“You can use a 15-percent sloped property and not have dramatic impact on (the environment),” says developer, Mark Ruda, “so it’s kind of a win-win.”

The slope will be used to zig-zag more than 5,000 feet of mountain coaster track down a 350 foot elevation change.  Guaranteed to be a fast and exciting ride for the park’s visitors, the custom designed stainless steel track can accommodate virtually every twist and turn in the mountain terrain.

In addition to the ride experience, the ADG Mountain Coaster features a patented collision avoidance system that delivers all the exhilaration of a rider-controlled experience while building in ground-breaking safety features. Automatic speed restrictors, brake lights, and alarms maximize safety while ensuring a fun, exhilarating ride. Special seat belts ensure riders remain safely seated even during high G-force turns. It is the only coaster on the market built with these state-of-the-art, proprietary safety features.

The mountain coaster ride at Branson will begins with a scenic ride up a mountainside on a full back, open-air sled style cart.  Once at the top, the driver of the coaster is then actively engaged by controlling how much, if any, braking they do during the ride down.  The ADG Mountain Coaster is capable of reaching maximum speeds of up to 25 to 30 mph.
