ALCHEMY studio Working with The Australian Museum on New Traveling Exhibition Development Process

Maplewood, NJ, USA — In October, ALCHEMY studio added another museum in Australia to its portfolio: The Australian Museum. The Australian Museum is the oldest museum in Australia and focuses on subjects in natural history and anthropology.

ALCHEMY studio is currently working with the exhibition team at the museum to plan, think through and develop material to describe new exhibition projects that will then be part of their traveling exhibition program. This work is designed to help jump start exhibition development at a very early stage, thus allowing museum staff to concentrate on near-term deadlines. Also, the process will provide an initial “straw man” the exhibition staff can build upon or tear apart -at least something so they’re not starting from scratch.
