Orlando, FL, USA — Leading interactive attractions company Alterface Projects and the animation and media masters at Pure Imagination Studios announced a ground-breaking new partnership during the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando.

In recent years, Alterface Projects and Pure Imagination Studios have worked together on various world class attractions including Six Flags’ newest and most thrilling interactive dark ride: JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis (design by Sally Corp) and Dragons Wild Shooting, the family favorite attraction located in Lotte World, Seoul (design by The Hettema Group).

For the last year, both companies have also been working on an exciting new interactive, media-based attraction. This attraction will open in the Middle East at the end of this year, and feature an entirely new type of interface for interactive dark rides. Due to the success of these collaborations, Alterface Projects and Pure Imagination Studios can now leverage their proprietary technologies and patents to develop the most sophisticated, real-time experiences possible today in location-based entertainment.

Benoit Cornet, CEO Alterface Projects explains: “Interactive systems and media content have quickly become the perfect match to deliver memorable experiences to theme parks. Thanks to their proprietary methodology to use real time gaming engines, Pure Imagination has proven countless times their immense talent to turn a great idea into a fantastic experience that takes visitors beyond the media.”

With this partnership, Alterface Projects and Pure Imagination Studios’ will deliver outstanding and proven expertise in the field of media-based and interactive attractions to amusement parks world-wide.

Per Steve Tavernia, Creative Director of Game Development for Pure Imagination Studios, “Combining these efforts will lead us to create the next generation of phenomenal ride concepts.” Joshua Wexler, Chief Executive of Fun at Pure Imagination Studios, added that, “interactive, media-based attractions are much like giant, story driven immersive video games. The R&D department at Alterface Projects was truly innovative to help us execute our vision, as proved by their Salto show and game control system which is used on many attractions. The trust in our companies demonstrated by multiple intellectual property owners is especially exciting to our teams and perhaps the most rewarding recognition of all.
