Amazing Interactives Wins Contract for 5D Attraction from Ripleys

Middlesbrough, UK (November 5, 2012) — The Evening Gazette reports on the deal valued at £1.5m:

“It will create a 5D Dark Ride for Ripley Entertainment Inc, after boss Jim Pattison Jnr visited its Riverside Park premises.

“Ripley Entertainment has just bought the Guinness World Records brand and Jim Pattison Jnr’s group, which also spans oil and gas, agriculture, automotive and construction, is worth $7.3bn and is Canada’s second largest company.

“A venue for the Amazing Interactives ride has yet to be decided, but if it’s a success, it could be installed at more parks in the Ripley portfolio, which includes 90 attractions across ten countries.

“A further £30,000 contract to supply its successful Shark Attack, a 3D ride which was installed at Katmandu theme park in Majorca, has also been won by the company.”
