ATI, audiovisual & tech integrator, establishes Shanghai office

Bob Athey, President of ATI (All Things Integrated) announced the company has added a Shanghai office, with existing locations in Las Vegas and Hollywood. Dwight Bai of Shanghai will head the Shanghai office as ATI China Operations Manager. Bai and other ATI reps, including VP of Sales Tommy Bridges, will be in Singapore to meet colleagues and as sponsors of the June 6 kickoff event of the new Asia Pacific Division of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), held in conjunction with IAAPA’s Asian Attractions Expo, June 4-7.

Athey says, “Dwight Bai of Shanghai has been hired to run ATI’s expanding Asian operations, and oversee our many projects in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau and Manila, Philippines. Our new office will help to facilitate the deployment of ATI’s AV, lighting, safety systems for the booming Asian theme park market.”

Athey added: “Dwight Bai has spent years in low voltage system design and integration, and had migrated his talents into AV, projection, lighting and complex show control systems.”

Dwight Bai says, “Its exciting to be part of ATI, from Las Vegas in the USA, and to continue their high quality work in Asia, and their out-of-the-box designs and thinking.”

Tommy Bridges, a founding member of the TEA Asia Pacific Division, commented: “Dwight Bai has great experience in the integration field and is well-known for designing complex electronic systems. Dwight is one of China’s best. Plus, Dwight is the chosen delegate from China, to the board of the UN council for safety and security. He’s a great addition to our staff. He’s a lifetime resident of Shanghai and speaks fluent English and Mandarin.”

Bridges adds: “We invite colleagues and clients to visit our new Shanghai facility. We have plenty of room to do 8K projection testing and 4D theater mock ups. ATI Shanghai is on Yinkou Road, well located in the heart of the Shanghai Science and Technology campus, Shanghai TV University, and only 8km away from the site of the new Disney Shanghai Park.”
