Ko Olina, Hawai’i, USA (January 25, 2016) — A fourth Atlantis resort is back on track, set to join the existing two in the Bahamas and Dubai and the one currently under construction in Sanya, China. The newest location has been in the works for over a decade, but now a land deal is close to being finalized in Ko Olina, Hawai’i for a 15-acre parcel adjacent to Disney’s Aulani Resort. The Ko Olina Atlantis is expected to offer many of the same amenities of its three sister properties, including hotel rooms with an aquarium view, interactive attractions with live sharks and dolphins, and a heavily themed waterpark. Anticipated cost for the new resort will be US$2 billion.
