Münster, Germany — In Münster, inquisitive young researchers can look forward to a very special adventure in summer 2014. From 19 June to 17 August, Blueprint Entertainment and the University of Münster are organizing the unique Explorado Adventure Campus close to the Schloss (palace) in Münster.

The plans are for an unparalleled open-air play and learning park, representing all the facets of the World of Explorado. Interactive stations, a large hands-on building site, a stage for science shows and children’s lectures or the popular Cleverlabs – all these formats will introduce children aged from 4 to 14 to scientific questions and encourage them to find out the answers for themselves. Students from the University of Münster will be at hand as pedagogically trained scouts. The motto: Science is child’s play on the Explorado Adventure Campus.

Explorado inventor Andreas Waschk of Blueprint Entertainment and the University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ursula Nelles agree: “Here we have two experienced partners who are pooling their expertise on knowledge transfer. On the Explorado Adventure Campus the programs offered by the World of Explorado and the University of Münster complement each other perfectly.”

Explorado is home to various high-quality, interactive edutainment formats for children. The portfolio includes the Explorado children’s museums, camps and tours. With the Explorado children’s museum in Duisburg, the Odysseum Science Center in Cologne and the Earth Explorer in Ostend, Blueprint Entertainment operates three science centers in Germany and Belgium.

The University of Münster, one of Germany’s largest universities, has more than 40,000 students and many years of expertise in imparting knowledge to children. With “MexLab ExperiMINTe”, the university’s established experimentation laboratories will also be taking part in the Explorado Adventure Campus.
