Break Point Plunge Promises New High-Thrill Experiences for Waterworld California Guests

Break Point Plunge Promises New High-Thrill Experiences for Waterworld California Guests
We’re confident this exhilarating, new high-thrill experience will be an instant favorite amongst our guests and a fantastic complement to our waterslide collection.” — Paul Kimura, Waterworld GM

Concord, CA, USA (March 3, 2014) — Waterworld California, home to the best collection of water park thrills in Northern California, announced its newest world-class attraction for 2014 – Break Point Plunge, a dueling, freefall body slide experience that launches two riders simultaneously.

Opening early summer, Break Point Plunge will take brave riders to a towering height of more than six-stories.  Once they reach the top, they’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Park before stepping into an enclosed, launch capsule where the countdown begins for what will happen next.  Within seconds, the floor below drops out, sending riders through a heart-pounding 270-foot long looping adventure before reaching the runout below!  Break Point Plunge also promises to be as thrilling to watch as it is to experience, allowing spectators to view riders taking the plunge through its translucent orange and lime green vibrant layout.

“The addition of Break Point Plunge further solidifies Waterworld California’s commitment of providing the largest variety of water park attractions and absolute best entertainment value in the region,” said Paul Kimura, general manager for Waterworld California.

Construction of Break Point Plunge is currently underway.  Those who can’t wait to ride this summer, can follow the progress of the ride with exclusive updates, interviews, statistics and renderings at WaterworldCalifornia.com.

Always looking to further enhance the guest experience, Waterworld California will also increase the amount of seating with new lounge chairsthroughout the Park – making it easier than ever to find that perfect spot to relax and sunbathe after a ride on one of your favorite attractions.  In addition, an upgraded Calypso Cabana Village will also be introduced for daily rental.

Plus, Waterworld California will give guests new reasons to visit throughout the season with an exciting line-up of new special events, multi-cultural celebrations and concerts.
