CALYPSO: "WORLD’S BEST WATERPARK" says MSN Travel

Calypso Waterpark’s new Summit Tower rises 10 stories high. This spectacular aquatic complex is said to be the tallest free-standing waterslide tower in North America.

Limoges, Ontario, Canada, July 18, 2011 ― Calypso, Canada’s biggest theme waterpark, was named the world’s best waterpark in a recent listing published by specialized webzine MSN Travel. This distinction is all the more remarkable due to the sheer number of waterparks nominated, including those at Disney and across the international scene.

“This is a great honour for Calypso, explains Mr. Guy Drouin, President and CEO of Calypso Theme Waterpark. After just one year of operations, Calypso Theme Waterpark turned heads around the world, a fact of which we are extremely proud! Theme diversity and exclusive attractions no doubt played an important part in the park’s success.”

In light of its success, Calypso increased its number of slides by adding a waterslide complex featuring ten new attractions, including AquaLoops, exclusive to Canada, where adrenaline and centrifugal force combine to give waterslide fans an exhilarating experience.

Located in Limoges, Ontario, Calypso Theme Waterpark welcomes families and thrill-seekers everyday, until September 5.
