May 28, 2013 Joe Kleiman News, Theme Parks Comments Off on Chickie & Pete’s Opens Outlet at Newly Unified Worlds of Fun
Kansas City, MO, USA — Worlds of Fun is proud to announce Chickie’s & Pete’s as a new food venue for guests at the newly renovated Oceans of Fun section of Worlds of Fun. Chickie’s & Pete’s, known for their World Famous Crabfries, was recognized as “ESPN’s Number One Sports Bar in North America.”
Chickie’s & Pete’s will serve a wide variety of Chickie’s® favorites in addition to their World Famous Crabfries®, including Pete’s Famous Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Cheesesteak. Overlooking a lake, guests will be able to enjoy a cold beverage while shooting pool or catching the big game.
Chickie’s & Pete’s Worlds of Fun location is the Midwest’s first. Since their beginnings in 1977, Chickie’s & Pete’s® hometown flavor has exploded across Philadelphia and New Jersey, prompting the celebration of the 5 millionth Crabfries served in 2008.
Other additions to Worlds of Fun include six new waterslides on a massive 65-foot-tall complex overlooking the Surf City Wave Pool, in the Oceans of Fun section of the park. Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, now all in one park and all for one price, guests experience both thrill rides and waterslides. Worlds of Fun is open daily.
