Apr 24, 2018 Joe Kleiman Europe & Middle East, News, Water Parks, World markets Comments Off on UAE’s First Cinesplash Theater Coming to Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is introducing a first-of-its kind experience to the UAE from Attraktion!. Announced during the Arabian Travel Market held this week in Dubai, Yas Waterworld’s Cinesplash will use special effects to “awaken the senses and take guests on a simulated journey that’s sure to trigger unforgettable memories.” Yas Waterworld’s Cinesplash is set to open in June 2018.
For the very first time, Yas Waterworld will bring to life its unique, award-winning story inspired by the UAE’s pearl diving past. Guests will follow characters they have come to know and love, as the story of the “Legend of the Lost Pearl” is revealed through an immersive experience. The 3D film will captivate audiences as they follow Dana’s fun and courageous quest through the sands of Abu Dhabi to recover her humble village’s rightful beacon of prosperity, the Mother Pearl.
True to the waterpark experience, effects will include spraying water, water explosions, rain, waterfalls, neck blasts, water guns, and fountains. RGB lighted bubbles in the theater walls and ceiling will be accompanied by ground fog, leg ticklers, wind effects, and 3 degrees of motion. To ensure guests are fully submerged in the adventure, 45-50 cm of water will flood the theatre, as seat vibrations take the experience to new heights.
“We are happy to reveal Yas Waterworld’s newest experience, Cineplash. This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new additions to our lineup of experiences and we are very proud to be the first waterpark to introduce this attraction to our guests in the region” said Bianca Sammut, General Manager, Yas Waterworld. “Providing visitors with fun aquatic adventures with local personality is at the heart of what we do here at Yas Waterworld, and we are grateful for our team’s hard work and relentless dedication in bringing this experience to life. We look forward to celebrating the legacy of our home through this dynamic experience.”
Recognized as the pearl in Yas Island’s collection of world class attractions, Yas Waterworld has won the hearts and minds of visitors from across the UAE and around the world thanks to an engaging themed experience that draws guests into a captivating world of escape. Recently voted the ‘Middle East’s Leading Waterpark’ for 2018 at the World Travel Awards, Yas Waterworld guarantees both the young and the young at heart special memories with every visit in every season.
