London, UK, USA — Electrosonic will be exhibiting for the first time at the 15th Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo (RAAPA) in Moscow on 20-22 March at stand A7/3.
Electrosonic’s entertainment business provides a complete set of audio-visual services, including custom designed audio, video and control systems, systems integration and full project management, plus a range of on and off site services and maintenance offerings. Custom solutions are provided for museums, visitor centres, theme parks, water parks and family entertainment centres. Clients include designers, curators, producers, fit-out contractors and end clients themselves.
Global Immersion, a division of Electrosonic that designs and integrates highly customised and technically complex planetarium and giant screen environments, will also be at the Electrosonic booth. Global Immersion provides an extensive range of services for digital immersive attractions including theatre planning, design, development, engineering, media, integration and through-life support.
Electrosonic and Global Immersion are no strangers to working in Russia. In June 2011, Global Immersion completed work on the Moscow Planetarium where the team designed and installed two digital planetarium systems, a large format 3D theatre, a mini 3D planetarium, a 4D cinema, conference room facilities, observatory telescope systems and a full render farm and production facility. The planetarium features the largest dome in Europe with a diameter of 25m (82ft) and ground space of 1,000 sq metres (11,000 sq ft).
“We are very excited about attending RAAPA and the opportunity to demonstrate how we can help Russian attractions to tell their story through innovative technology solutions” commented Paul Taylor, Sales Manager of the Cultural Entertainment and Leisure business for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Our dedicated team will use recent projects to illustrate how we can interpret a client’s requirements and turn them into integrated systems that engage visitors and operate reliably in every environment.”
RAAPA Expo is the largest exhibition in Russia and the CIS countries of modern amusement rides, play machines, entertainment equipment and related services to the amusement industry. The exhibition is supported by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and attracts over 200 international exhibitors and over 5000 visitors.
Electrosonic will be located on Stand# A7/3 in Pavilion 75 of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVTs) in Moscow.
