Expo 2020 Dubai Logo Links Past to Future

Dubai, UAE (March 28, 2016) — On March 29, the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee unveiled the Expo’s new logo.  The new logo is based on a gold ring found in the ancient archaeological site of Saruq Al Hadid and symbolically links the UAE’s past with its future.  To honor this link, the new logo, whose influence sat for thousands of years beneath the ground, was fittingly unveiled by being projection mapped onto the sides of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. Following are photos from the event, along with the official announcement video and videos explaining the historical significance of the logo and what it means for the Expo and Dubai’s future.
