Extreme Engineering providing PPE shields in fight against COVID-19

Extreme Engineering has collaborated with one of their strategic partners to manufacture protective face shields in support of the high demands with PPE gear. This protective shield, called “Extreme PPE Shield,” is now available to order through Extreme Engineering’s parts department (916.663.1560 x 221).

Understanding the urgency of having PPE gear on hand these shields are available through quick delivery times, even on large volume orders. Each protective shield includes an adjustable headband with Velcro attachment, making it fully adjustable.

Extreme Engineering’s factory, located just outside of Dallas, Texas was officially deemed essential in supporting the fight against COVID-19. “In light of your shift in manufacturing legacy products to Personal Protective Equipment to aid in the spread and prevention of COVID-19 during the current pandemic. We at the Athens Chamber of Commerce deem Extreme Engineering as an essential business,” states Ms. Gunstanson, president of Athens Chamber of Commerce.

“We wanted to figure out how we could quickly support this crisis. Our company has a turnkey, state-of-the-art factory, that fully capable to quickly manufacture PPE products,” states Jeff Wilson, CEO with Extreme Engineering. “Everyone knows a nurse, first responder or friend working with the mass public. Our team wanted to provide protection to these brave, hardworking individuals during these uncertain times.” Extreme Engineering, and their strategic partner, have already taken thousands of orders from hospitals to other disaster relief organizations.
