Gallegos Exits Thorburn Associates

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – August 6, 2012 – “I reluctantly accepted Pat Gallegos’ resignation last week,” states Lisa A. Thorburn, President of Thorburn Associates. “Pat’s marketing and business development efforts will be missed”. Gallegos was responsible for helping build up the lighting design component of Thorburn Associates.

“To our current clients, the lighting design team put in place to support Pat’s marketing efforts is still at full force and projects under contract will be completed as scheduled” states Thorburn.

“Nothing changes; all design work was conducted under our Director of Design, Steve Thorburn PE, LEED AP. Steve started out as a lighting designer, responsible for musical and theatrical productions in Northern Michigan. He has also led the design for all of the technical conferencing lighting designs Thorburn Associates has completed over the years.”

“The timing surprises me,” continues Thorburn, “as we just completed our highest gross revenue year which exceeded 2010 when Thorburn Associates was listed in the INC 500/5000 fastest growing firms. We certainly wish Pat the best of luck on his future endeavors.”
