Boyertown, PA, USA — Gateway Ticketing Systems and Princess Abiodun Oyefusi, the Managing Director of SPFM International Limited signed an agreement to use Gateway Ticketing Systems’ flagship Galaxy product suite for ticketing and access control at the Delta Leisure Resorts and Asaba Wildlife Parks in Nigeria. Gateway Ticketing Systems’ ability to provide consultative services from project conception and design through to the system go-live was key to Delta Leisure’s decision to work with Gateway as stated by Kevin Howe, of Ocean Designs, a spokesman for SPFM:

“Delta Leisure Resorts were aware of Gateway Ticketing Systems’ global reputation in the Entertainment world for developing ‘intelligent’ ticketing systems, and as such were included within a ‘process’ to find and appoint the best company to consult, design and install ticketing and POS systems at the Delta Leisure Resort and Asaba Wildlife Park currently under construction. On appraisal of Gateway’s experience, responses and inputs, they were chosen ahead of other companies to undertake the bespoke works that require multi-layered ticketing individually and together with cross sales online and on-site, and we were very pleased to welcome them on board as part of the team when Princess Abiodun Oyefusi signed contracts during IAAPA 2013.”

Gateway Business Solutions Architect Steve Bell is excited to begin work with the park: “We are looking forward to providing Delta with consultative services and the supporting technology guidance to craft an advanced guest management plan that touches every area of their facilities: from ticketing, retail, food and beverage to access control and revenue generation and management. With over 25 years’ experience in the theme park industry, our products and services are aligned with the caliber of service Delta strives to deliver to its guests.”

The parks, which are slated to open in April 2015, will use the complete Galaxy product suite for point of sale for main gate, kiosk, online ticketing, retail and F&B. Delta Leisure Resorts will also implement Galaxy Order Entry, Resource Management and a number of Gateway’s RevGen solutions to further enhance the guest experience, including Galaxy Stored Value, Loyalty and Upsell. The first of their kind in West Africa, the Delta Leisure Resorts anticipates upwards of 5,000,000 visitors a year to the venues, which will include wildlife and water parks, hotels, nightlife and attractions.
