GSCA, the Giant Screen Cinema Association, has announced the results of its 2012 board of directors election.The following candidates will join the board for a two-year term beginning on January 1, 2012.
Representing Institutional Theaters:
- Steve Bishop, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts
- Jeffrey Kirsch, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center
- Michele Canto, Canadian Museum of Civilization
- Tim Hazlehurst, Marbles Kids Museum
Representing Commercial Theaters:
- Gil Perez, Destination Cinema
- Laurent Dondey, La Géode
Representing Distributors:
- Bob Harman, MacGillivray Freeman Films
- Don Kempf, Giant Screen Films
Representing Manufacturers/Suppliers/Other Related Businesses:
- Paul Fraser, Blaze Digital Cinema Works
Representing Producers:
- Lisa Truitt, National Geographic Cinema Ventures
- Shaun MacGillivray, MacGillivray Freeman Films
Representing Euromax:
- Dennis Laws will represent Euromax in an ex-officio board position
They will join the following board members, who still have one year left on their board term:

The 2012 board of directors will meet via conference call on December 14 to elect officers and approving the 2012 budget.
The following outgoing board members completed their terms in 2011 and per term limits specified in the GSCA bylaws were not eligible for re-election:
