Gilroy Gardens Thanks Locals With Free Day at Park

Gilroy, CA, USA — Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is hosting its 3rd Annual Resident’s Day for Gilroyans on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 10am-6pm. This private event is reserved for Gilroy residents only, in appreciation for all their support of the park. New this year, join us for “ART IN THE PARK” with demonstrations by local artists at the park.  The park will open to the general public on April 1.

Residents can show proof of residency at the Front Gate ticket windows to gain FREE admission into the park. Also, residents can enjoy a special lunch buffet of Penne Pasta Marinara with Italian Sausage, Vegetarian Pasta served in a Creamy Alfredo Sauce, All-Beef Jumbo Hot Dogs, Home-style Mac & Cheese, Spinach Salad with Pears, Feta Cheese and Caramelized Walnuts paired with Vinaigrette Dressing, freshly baked Dinner Rolls, Unlimited Coca-Cola Soft Drinks and Unlimited Ice Cream Novelties. Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, and is $9.00 for ages 3-10 and $13 for ages 11 & up (Children 2 and under are FREE). All lunch proceeds will go to the Gilroy Gardens Education Program, serving children & schools in the South Bay.

Plus, Gilroy Gardens is offering a special “Value Card” promotion through May 31st. “Everyone’s A Kid” until the end of May and can get a Season of Fun for the price of a single-day kid’s admission, only $34.99. Prices for “Value Cards” go up June 1st.
