Conveniently located next to the Pirate Cove Restaurant & Bar, GoZip Pirate Cove will include:
Experience the thrill of free falling (like jumping out of an airplane) on the 80-foot “Plank Walk” Powerfan® Freefall. The innovative fan mechanism will slow guests down just before their feet touch the sandy shore for a nice, gentle landing.
For those who enjoyed swinging as a kid, the 80-foot, Giant “Bosun Swing” will bring back fond memories and leave them smiling, as you swing back and forth along the Colorado River.
Unlike any other zip line in the world, the innovative “Rum Runner” motorized zip line is powered by 30HP electric motors, which will simultaneously whisk up to six riders more than 1,000 feet away. Riders will travel at speeds of more than 55 mph.
The adventures continue with a guided “Pirates Quest” zip line tour that will run diagonally across the peninsula. The tour consists of five zip lines, ranging from 312 feet to 1,300 feet, two towers and one 80 ft suspension bridge. The tour accommodates groups of 10 guests at one time and lasts approximately two hours. Guests will learn about the great Colorado River basin and the historic Route 66, while zipping in style.
