GSCA Announces 2013 Board of Directors

Lake Anna, VA, USA — GSCA is pleased to announce the results of the 2013 board of directors election. The following candidates will join the board for a two-year term beginning on January 1, 2013.

Representing Institutional theaters:

  • Glenn Shaver, Ontario Science Centre
  • Gordon Stalans, Tennessee Aquarium
  • Kim Cavendish, Museum of Discovery and Science

Representing Commercial Theaters:

  • Mark Bretherton, Worlds Biggest Screens
  • Berend Reijnhoudt, Omniversum

Representing Distributors:

  • Mark Katz, National Geographic Cinema Ventures

Representing Manufacturers/Suppliers/Other Related Businesses:

  • Toby Mensforth, Mensforth and Associates
  • Mike Lutz, IMAX Corporation
  • Rick Gordon, RPG Productions (one-year term to fill position vacated by Gil Perez)

Representing Producers:

  • Jonathan Barker, SK Films
  • Daniel Ferguson, Cosmic Picture

They will join the following board members, who still have one year left on their board term:

  • Jeffrey Kirsch, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

  • Dennis Laws will represent Euromax in an ex-officio board position

The new board will meet via conference call in late-December to elect officers and committee chairs. Results will be announced when they are available.
