Gulliver’s Gate Announces Retail, Ticketing, and Photography Partners for Times Square Attraction

Gulliver’s Gate, one of the most technically advanced and interactive miniature world experiences anywhere, announces the hiring of three best-in-class companies as partners: Event Network (for retail operations), FareHarbor (for attraction ticketing) and Magic Memories (for souvenir photography).

Gulliver’s Gate is a 49,000 square foot attraction being built in Manhattan’s Times Square. Inspired by Miniatur-Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany, Gulliver’s Gate will feature more than 300 scale scenes from around the universe, many of them offering interactive guest experiences.

“We chose to hire these three companies after an extensive search process, because of their customer-first approach and extensive industry experience,” said Gulliver’s Gate President and CEO Eiran Gazit. “They join an already-established team of executives, vendors, engineers and model makers from around the world who are working tirelessly to bring this complex project to life.”

“Event Network is thrilled to partner with Gulliver’s Gate and apply our retail expertise to create a dynamic, compelling shopping experience as part of the guest service offering,” said Event Network Principal Jerry Gilbert. “The Gulliver’s Gate team has done a tremendous job in developing a unique one-of-a-kind immersive experience, a miniature world of majestic proportions that will ignite the imagination of visitors, which provides a wonderful platform to create a shopping environment and merchandise offering that spark curiosity and extend and enhance the Gulliver’s Gate experience.”

“Gulliver’s Gate is a truly aspirational and inspirational undertaking, with an experiential element that should be breathtaking for the million or more citizens from around the world who will enjoy it,” said FareHarbor CEO Lawrence Hester. “We are pleased and honored that FareHarbor was selected as the partner to handle ticketing management via our world-class reservation platform, and we look forward to our role in this awe-inspiring event.”

“We are proud to partner with Gulliver’s Gate, which will be a fantastic addition to the New York attractions marketplace,” said Magic Memories Founder and President John Wikstrom. “Magic Memories will provide innovative ways for guests to collect and share all of their memories each time they visit Gulliver’s Gate.”

The Gulliver’s Gate miniature models are currently in transit to the Times Square location. Beginning in December, teams of approximately 15 to 20 model makers from factories around the world in will arrive in New York City to assemble and install the models from their region, including representatives from Italy, Argentina, Israel, and China.

In addition to the state-of-the-art models, Gulliver’s Gate will feature educational centers as well as a full-body scanner and 3D printer to enable visitors to make two mini versions of themselves — one to take home with them and the other to leave behind as a permanent “model citizen” of Gulliver’s Gate.

Well over one million annual visitors are anticipated. Previews of the attraction will begin April 4th, 2017 with a grand opening planned for early May 2017. For additional information, please visit: http://gulliversgate.com/.
