About the USS Hornet’s STEM Program:

The Hornet’s Stem to Stern program is an example of one of the many missed opportunities for students. This program focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math by using the ship as a learning resource.  By learning about and understanding some of the operational systems of our aircraft carrier, students can easily connect the math and physics they are learning in the classroom with real world applications.
