Hoplite Entertainment is pleased to announce that Greg Senner (above) will be partnering with Jonathan Lee Smith to form the Orlando-based division entitled Hoplite LBE (Location Based Entertainment). This partnership will extend the Emmy-winning Hoplite Entertainment brand into the multi-billion-dollar themed attractions and experience industry. Smith and Senner first worked together in 2003 on various live events and productions before pursuing film and television production and themed entertainment, respectively. Now combining their gained experiences and diverse skillsets, this partnership collaboratively produces a broad spectrum of entertainment opportunities to Hoplite clients “beyond the screen”.
“We are thrilled to have Greg onboard to spearhead this new division,” says Smith. “He has a unique talent when it comes to translating creative vision and captivating stories to experiential environments.”
Senner’s contributions to themed entertainment industry include his masterful technical direction on various elements of the world-renowned Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios Parks. With over 24 years in entertainment, Greg is a respected hands-on creative solutions strategist with a background in television, film and themed attractions development. With a strong understanding of translating design to build packages and their completion, Greg has an unparalleled ability to identify and engage collaborators for each project. His detail oriented technique for leading teams in project execution with close attention to maximizing profits and meeting (when not beating) the schedule make Greg an asset to every project.
As a result of this new division focusing in the LBE market, the Hoplite brand will add a fourth office in Orlando, Florida to those already established in Los Angeles, Johannesburg, South Africa and most recently Ningbo, China, just outside Shanghai.
