Hungerford and Vannucci Join Hettema Group as Part of Company-Wide Expansion

Los Angeles, CA, USA — The Hettema Group is pleased to welcome Eric Hungerford as Director of Media Production and Tom Vannucci, a Creative Director, as part of an ongoing company-wide expansion.

vanucciVannucci brings with him 25 years of cross-media experience throughout the entertainment industry, including film, television, theme parks, theatre, and special events. Tom has directed, written, choreographed, and served as creative director for large-scale live productions for companies such as The Walt Disney Co., Universal Studios and Warner Bros., and the Sacramento Kings.

For Universal Studios, Vannucci directed the Marvel Super Heroes Stunt Show, Conan Stunt Show, Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, and the Halloween experience, the “Bill & Ted Adventure.” Other credits include Mystic Rhythms, Porto Paradiso, and DisneyFest Asia at Tokyo Disney Sea, as well as some of the most impressive stunt shows created, including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Stunt Show, Batman Forever Stunt Show, Marvel Super Heroes Stunt Show and numerous live shows for the Dollywood Company.

Additional clients who have repeatedly called on Vannucci for his wide array of talents include Twentieth Century Fox, MGM, Renaissance Entertainment, and Princess Cruise Lines.

Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter, Revenge of the Mummy ride pre-show, Ferrari World film attractions and, working with John Landis, the Universal Studios retrospective, “Universal 360.”

Eric produced all live action media for High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel in Las Vegas, and he is the media producer for the visitor experience at the new World Trade Center building in New York, the One World Observatory (opening late Spring 2015).

The Hettema Group (THG) designs unique experiential attractions around the world.  THG designed and is producing the visitor experience at the top of the new World Trade Center building in New York City.  The One World Observatory will open in late spring 2015.  THG also designed and produced the world’s tallest observation wheel, the “High Roller” in Las Vegas, Nevada, (owned by Caesars Entertainment), which opened in March 2014. Previously, THG created and produced the award winning “Beyond All Boundaries” theater experience, executive produced and narrated by Tom Hanks, for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
