From Wednesday, 27 September to Friday, 30 September, the Olympia Exhibition Center is hosting the largest conference and trade show for the attractions industry in Europe. This three-day event features more than 270 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services for the industry. The event also includes seminars and workshops focusing on the most recent developments in the industry. The event is expected to attract more than 8,000 visitors from 60 countries. EAS is organised by the European Office of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

Lets meet in London
European amusement and attractions owners, operators, and suppliers will experience the vibrancy of London during Euro Attractions Show 2011. “Going to London for EAS is a natural progression for IAAPA and the Euro Attractions Show. With our strong relationship with BALPPA (The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers & Attractions) and the large number of attractions in the United Kingdom it is, without question, one of the best places to take EAS,” stated Mats Wedin, Chairman of the IAAPA European Advisory Committee. EAS is organized in a different European country each year.

Olympia Exhibition Center
The Olympia Exhibition Center, is known for its stunning Victorian architecture, magnificent galleries, and ornate barrel-vaulted roof. It was recently renovated and will provide a dramatic setting for the Euro Attractions Show. The trade fair is conveniently located in the city centre, and can be reached easily by the visitors who will attend from all around the UK and Europe.

Conference and trade show
On the show floor visitors will find the lastest products for theme and amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, family entertainment centres, museums, carnivals, attractions, shopping centres, casinos, resorts, arcades, golf, and concert facilities. The floor is open every day from 11.00 until 18.00, on Friday until 16.00.

In addition to the trade show, a diversified programme with conferences and networking events will be offered. Among the seminar topics attendees will find: the latest social media tools such as location-based apps, the use of intellectual properties in the attractions business, how to work with groups of enthusiasts and fan-sites, new developments in ride safety, maintenance and compliance issues, and information on how to recruit, train and retain employees. Moreover, a special seminar on waterparks and a three-day Institute for Attractions Managers will be offered.

On 27 September a seminar with genuine legends from the European attractions industry will take place. They will reflect on their successful past, debate the present, and have a look into the future of the attractions business.

EAS will offer tours to various attractions throughout London where visitors can experience first-hand the energy of London and some of its most popular attractions such as EDF Energy The London Eye, the Tower of London, Madame Tussauds, Chessington World of Adventures, and LEGOLAND®.
