I’m sitting here in the defunct Wonders of Life Pavillion at the media center, wrapping up a media trip to Disney World that focused on the company’s 2010 promotion: Give A Day, Get A Disney Day, that essentially rewards volunteers with a free Disney ticket.
Well, I’ve been so impressed with everything and everyone here that I have decided to get a group together to Volunteer back home in Milwaukee and then take a trip together out here this summer.
As I jokingly said in the email to some friends, I imagine the most challenging part of the whole experience will be to find a time and date we can all agree on!
Incidentally, Disney put on a wonderful event this week, despite challenging weather conditions throughout the country and a fair amount of cold and rain down here in Orlando. It won’t stop me, though…after this brief work session, I’m off to swim a bit in the Beach Club pool!!!
