Team

Brian Bonnick, Chief Technology Officer, joined the Company in January 1999 as Vice President, Research & Technology, and was appointed Executive Vice President, Technology in June 2006. Previous to that, Mr. Bonnick held the position of Senior Vice President, Technology, a position he held since August 2001. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bonnick was Vice President, Engineering and Operations for Electrohome Corporation. Prior to that Mr. Bonnick was Vice President and General Manager at TSB International Inc., a telecommunications company. Mr. Bonnick is registered as a professional engineer by the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Nader Elm, SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development, Nader has always focused on growth strategies, particularly in technology-intensive industries. As Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at IMAX Corporation his responsibilities include strategic planning for the organization as well as leading initiatives to grow the business outside of its core.

Prior to IMAX Nader was in the senior leadership team at Rogers Digital Media where he was responsible for developing the strategic direction for Digital at Rogers Media as well as new business development and corporate venturing. Operationally he was also head of finance, analytics and reporting of the group as well as developing and running the group’s innovation agenda.

His prior experiences include Director of Corporate Strategy at BCE where he focused on the company’s various new growth businesses and ventures, Vice President of Business Development at Blue Spark Media, a digital media technology company, where he led the conception and development of new service lines, and Senior Consultant at Adventis Consulting, a Boston-based strategy consulting firm.

Nader has a deep understanding of consumer and technology trends that are influencing media and entertainment markets and their impact on traditional, digital-pure-play and multiplatform players. He holds a B.Eng (Hons) from University College London, London University and an MBA from London Business School.
