Jeff Rosen to direct project development at The Hettema Group

Pasadena, CA – The Hettema Group is pleased to announce Jeff Rosen has joined the creative design team as Director of Project Development. The firm specializes in creating and producing one-of-a-kind immersive environments for the world of experiential entertainment including museums, visitor centers, theme parks and resort destinations.

“Jeff has a tremendous wealth of experience within our industry, and we are excited about the contribution he will make to our clients, our projects, and our company,” said Phil Hettema, President and Creative Executive, The Hettema Group.

In his new role, Rosen will be responsible for strategic growth of the company, broadening the client base and maintaining relationships with current and new clients. He brings 20 years of experience in design proposal development, client and artist relations, and project development. To ensure client needs are met, Rosen will provide clear communication between clients and the design team throughout each phase of project development from concept and design to production and installation.

High profile and award-winning projects Rosen has worked closely on include the “Dare to Dream Tour” at the Empire State Building Observatory; Universal Studios Japan – Animation Celebration, a culturally-based theme park in Malmo, Sweden, Texas State History Museum, and Battle Stations 21 for the US Navy.

Rosen holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, and a B.S. Degree in Business Communication from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH.

The Hettema Group has an established track record of creating unforgettable experiences worldwide. Led by industry veteran Phil Hettema, The Hettema Group has provided creative design services for such American icons as Elvis Presley’s Graceland, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, among others. Recently the firm created and produced the award winning, multi-media experience “Beyond All Boundaries” for the National World War II Museum, narrated by Executive Producer Tom Hanks, which has received both critical and popular praise for its powerful emotional evocation of one of the major events of the twentieth century.

Judith Rubin ([email protected]) is a leading journalist, content marketing specialist and connector in the international attractions industry. She reports on design and technical design, production and project management, industry trends and company culture. From 2005-2020 she ran communications and publications for the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). In 2013, she was honored with the TEA Service Award. She was development director of IMERSA and publicist for the Large Format Cinema Association, and has contributed to the publications of PLASA, IAAPA and the International Planetarium Society. Judith joined World’s Fair magazine in 1987, which introduced her to the attractions industry. She joined InPark in 2010. Judith earned a BFA from Pratt Institute. She has lived in Detroit, New York, Oakland, and now Saint Louis, where she is active in the local arts community.
