Kevin Murphy Named Vice President of Strategic Planning for Kraftwerk

Wels, Austria — Kraftwerk Living Technologies, a global player in the field of audio-visual system integration headquartered in Wels, Austria, has appointed a new member to its senior team by adding Kevin Murphy as Vice President of Strategic Planning. Kevin’s appointment aims at strengthening the team and Kraftwerk Living Technologies’ position in the international markets of Entertainment, Museums and Brand Centers and to help develop and implement a strategic plan for growth and continued quality.

kraftwerklt_kevin_murphyKevin joins with a varied career of over 40 years that includes a position as Development Director at design group Event Communications in London, and Electrosonic Ltd, a major audiovisual and technology provider, where he actively participated in a number of Board roles over a 20 year period. He also worked at the Natural History Museum in London, with responsibility for the technology development team established during his ten years there. Kevin’s experience throughout technology implementation in Corporate, Cultural and Brand projects is extensive, also supporting and working with conferences and publications. Moreover, he is a founding member of the Themed Entertainment Association, TEA, having held a Board position for eight years, even functioning as President of the European and Middle East Board.

Kevin explains, “When the company behind the largest 4D theater in the world and some extremely high quality and complex audio-visual systems was looking to enhance its team, it was an opportunity I could not miss. I am very much looking forward to work with an extremely talented team of professionals in the field of systems engineering and complex projection solutions, but also a team that has developed some key products such as the 4D SFX motion seats and mixed media theater solutions.” Kevin Murphy will be based in the United Kingdom, spending some time at the headquarters in Wels as well as travelling extensively to work with clients and partners on projects and at trade shows and events all around the world.
