Mark Weston Joins WhiteWater

Richmond, Canada (November 13, 2012) — WhiteWater is pleased to announce that Mark Weston has joined the WhiteWater team as Senior Design Project Manager, Creative Development.

Drawing on his industry experience, insights, product-development know-how and unique background, Mark will be collaborating with WhiteWater’s and Prime Play’s design teams to develop products from concept ideation through to prototype execution. Mark will be integral in the innovation of new product designs, product enhancements and next generation evolutions for a number of WhiteWater and Prime Play original attractions.


Mark brings with him over 25 years of experience in designing and developing family-focused leisure and entertainment attractions for theme parks, waterparks, resorts, museums, and other destination venues. He has worked with the likes of Six Flags, Universal Studios, Center Parcs and The London Millennium Dome, as the founding partner and President of Funtraptions, as well as VP and Managing Partner of SCS Interactive/Koala.

Prior to joining SCS, Mark was a practicing Psychologist, national public speaker, author (Playful Parenting, Putnam 1993, and PlayWise, Putnam, 1995), and consultant to child product and family focused entertainment companies including Hasbro Interactive, PlaySkool, Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney Development Corp, and Disney Cruise Lines.
