Michigan Science Center Opening December 26

Detroit, MI, USA (December 4, 2012) — Officials of the Michigan Science Center announced today that the science center will open to the public in downtown Detroit on December 26, 2012.  Michigan Science Center is the new operating entity for the former assets of the Detroit Science Center, which suddenly closed September 26, 2011, with an outstanding debt to creditors of more than $6 million.  The Michigan Science Center will open with the special exhibition “Bodies Human: Anatomy in Motion” from Lynx Exhibits of El Paso, TX, USA.
