New Film Submissions

Due Friday, June 8

This Friday, June 8, is the last day producers and distributors can submit new films to screen at the Tennessee Aquarium in IMAX digital laser and McWane Science Center in either 15/70 or digital. You’ll find the submission details and form here.


Film in Production, Project in Development, and Trailer Submissions

Due Friday, June 22

June 22 is the last day producers and distributors can submit films in production, projects in development, and trailers.  You’ll find the submission details and form here.


Marketing and Education Award Submissions

Due Friday, July 13

Showcase your team’s hard work by submitting a marketing campaign or education program for consideration in the GSCA Achievement Awards. Submissions are featured in our marketing librarylifelong learning success stories, and may be featured in a future webinar. Educational programs and marketing campaigns must have been initiated between June 1, 2017, and May 31, 2018.

Best Film Launch by a Theater is given for the best launch of an individual giant screen film by a theater

Best Marketing Campaign by a Distributor is given for the best marketing campaign designed and produced by the film distributor to accompany the launch of a giant screen film

Best Theater Marketing Campaign is given for the best campaign to open a new theater, reopen a theater after a renovation or conversion, rebrand a theater, or a new campaign to market an existing theater

Best Educational Program is given for the program which best represents the development and presentation of a complete educational experience using giant screen film, exhibits, educational materials, and other media or materials

Outstanding Achievement Award Nominations

Due Friday, July 13

Nominated by GSCA members, the Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes industry contributions of lasting impact which

best advance the giant screen industry

enhance the immersive cinema experience and/or promote lifelong learning through the giant screen experience

inspire audiences and the industry

Achievements in all aspects of the industry will be considered. You’ll find all the criteria and nomination process here.

Make Reservation by August 29

Reservations at the GSCA conference hotels must be booked by August 29 to qualify for the GSCA event rate; however, the event rate is subject to room availability, so we recommend you make your reservation as soon as possible. You’ll find more info here.
