PHOTO ESSAY: London Olympics Closing Ceremony August 12, 2012

London, UK — The Closing Ceremony, which was executive produced by film director Stephen Daltry with Kim Gavin as Artistic Director and David Arnold as Musical Director, celebrated fifty years of British pop music.  Highlights included Annie Lennox in a goth rock number, a fashion show with top British models, including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, set to David Bowie’s “Fashion,” a reunion of The Spice Girls, a comedic segment starring Monty Python’s Eric Idle, and a rousing finale by The Who. In addition to the British entertainment, artists from Brazil performed a short piece as a preview of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro
