PHOTOS: Shuttle Rocket Booster Arrives at Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson

Thursday saw the delivery of a rocket designed to boost the space shuttle into space at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, USA.  It is one of a pair of booster rockets that were being held at Edwards Air Force Base in California for transfer to the California Science Center in Los Angeles, where they were to be attached to an external fuel tank for display with the space shuttle Endeavor.  The Science Center determined that it did not need both boosters and arranged for one to be transferred to the Arizona museum.  Both boosters had previously been on display at the Kennedy Space Center from 1994 to 2011.
