Picsolve to Provide Green Screen Imaging Technology Aboard Busan Air Cruise

Picsolve, a leading digital content creation partner for world-class visitor destinations, has today announced a contract win with Busan Air Cruise, providing imaging technology at SongDo Beach’s major new tourist attraction. Visitors of Korea’s highest marine propulsion cable car, which opens in May 2017, will be able to capture and instantly share their live experience as they enjoy the breath-taking bird’s eye views of South Korea’s second largest city, Busan.

The 88-metre-high tourist attraction, which begins at the famous Songdo Beach and travels up to the tree-lined cliffs and panoramic seaside views of Amnam Park, expects to transport over 2 million people throughout 2017. Picsolve’s innovative green screen technology will enable its visitors to choose from a range of seasonally updated content and immediately share images of the 1.6km awe-inspiring trip with the world.

The partnership with Busan Air Cruise adds to Picsolve’s ever increasing portfolio in the Asia-Pacific market, which also includes destinations such as Madame Tussauds Singapore and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Shanghai. Since 2013, 10 of the region’s biggest tourist destinations across 5 countries have selected Picsolve’s technology as the ‘must have’ ingredient to engage their visitors with powerful digital content in an increasingly social world. This win is Picsolve’s second tourist destination within the port city of Busan following a successful partnership with Sealife Busan Aquarium, furthering the company’s geographic diversification.

Mr. Choi Hyo Seob, President of Busan Air Cruise, commented, “Picsolve is a trusted partner with a wealth of expertise providing digital imaging solutions to the world’s biggest and most impressive tourist attractions, and therefore is the perfect fit to support our vision to create powerful experiences that guests want to tell the world about. We want to empower our visitors to share the enjoyment they feel when visiting Busan’s beautiful landscape, and we’re now able to elevate this further through Picsolve’s technology.

Picsolve CEO, Alan Wright commented, “The heart and soul of our business is enabling visitors of world-class destinations to capture live moments and instantly share them. In this content era, we understand that immediacy is key and we look forward to working with Busan Air Cruise to provide digital solutions that will allow their guests to share their enjoyment of the attraction wherever they are, whenever they want. As we continue our global expansion, we’re looking to build many more mutually beneficial partnerships with other entertainment attractions, and grow our footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.”
