Pittsburgh ScareHouse® ranked high by the Haunts community (video)

PITTSBURGH, USA /PRNewswire/ — The ScareHouse®, for the second year in a row, has been ranked as one of the country’s best haunted houses by the editors of Haunted Attraction magazine: the haunted attraction industry’s leading trade publication. The recently released list once again ranks “Pittsburgh’s Ultimate Haunted House” at #3 on the list of 25 “Must See” haunted attractions in America.

The ScareHouse was also recently voted the #1 haunted house in the world by visitors to TopHaunts.com and as one of America’s Top 3 haunts on HauntedHouseRatings.com.

Fright fans who brave The ScareHouse this year will experience three original and terrifying attractions created by a team of scenic artists, costume designers, and special effects experts.

– Pittsburgh Zombies is an ALL-NEW attraction devoted to Pittsburgh’s living dead legacy as “Zombie Capital of the World.” This new attraction features elaborate re-creations and references based on iconic Pittsburgh landmarks, now infested with legions of the walking and hungry dead.

– In Delirium 3-D, guests enter a deranged and demented world filled with color, creatures, and the crazed imagination of a very twisted mind. The 3-D glasses will protect your eyes but your brain may never be the same!

– The Forsaken offers a journey into a carnival of carnage, abandoned ruins infested with evil, and face-to-face encounters with your worst nightmares.

The ScareHouse is open on select dates from now through October 30. Hours are 7pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 7pm to 10pm on all other nights. “Pittsburgh’s Ultimate Haunted House” is located just minutes from downtown at 118 Locust Street, Etna PA 15223.
