Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA — The Producers Group LLC (TPG) – international attraction production specialists – is providing Owner’s Representative and Project Development Consulting services to Historic Philadelphia, Inc., for the all-new “Lights of Liberty” outdoor nighttime show currently in production.

“Lights of Liberty” tells the story of the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence in the actual setting where many of those decisive historical events of the 1700s took place. Cutting-edge digital technology combines with architectural treasures of the period to immerse visitors in an educational and entertaining journey through the past.

“We are proud to be a part of this historic attraction,” said Producers Group Co-CEO Bob Chambers. “‘Lights of Liberty’ is a culturally significant project, and for us, an enjoyable challenge.” TPG’s role will include project management of the design phase and creation of the master project schedule and budget.

The original “Lights of Liberty” show premiered in 1999. With oversight from TPG in its consulting role on behalf of the project owner, the technical design of the new show is being completely re-imagined with surround sound and high-tech imagery.. “The show will be renovated in a way that will allow the audience to not only watch history unfold in front of them – it will surround and envelop them completely,” said Producers Group Co-CEO Edward Marks.

TPG Project Director Mark Stephens notes, “The new show will dovetail with the other attractions that HPI operates. We’re excited to see the process moving forward.”
