ProSlide identifies waterpark product trends at EAS

Martin Palicki and Chelsea Ogilvie

ProSlide’s Chelsea Ogilvie updated InPark on their latest news. Larger capacity and new product introductions were the theme for 2017 and the trend is continuing. Their Double Tornado Wave has been exceeding expectations. Also, the company’s line of watercoasters is proving to be popular: two were installed in 2017, currently nine are scheduled for next year.

Ogilvie is also seeing parks becoming more interested in the classic rides, as well as the iconic new attractions. ProSlide’s product development team is creating new ways to enjoy the classic slides with new twists and surprises. For example, the Rally Racer adapts the standard racing slide and turns it into a tubing slide with sections of lower walls, so riders can see who is winning next to them.
