ProSlide Opens KrakenRACERs at Three US Parks

Great Escape, Lake George, NY

Ottawa, Canada — The ProSlide KrakenRACER™ continues to be one of the most popular mat racers since it was introduced in 2011. The KrakenRACER™ won numerous industry awards in 2011, including both the IAAPA Best New Waterpark Ride as well as the WWA Innovation Award. ProSlide is proud to announce three more KrakenRACER™ installations now open in the USA: Six Flags The Great Escape, Noah’s Ark and Lake Compounce, all of them in the four lane configuration.

Noah’s Ark, Wisconsin Dells, WI

The KrakenRACER™ has a compact footprint and configurations ranging from 4 to 10 lanes. It is the only mat racer on the market that starts riders in enclosed, braided tubes. Riders then bank up the curves of the braided section before plunging down the final straight RACER drop to the finish line. ProSlide has more experience than any other manufacturer in mat racer water rides, creating the market segment in 1995 with the ProRACER™, which also won the IAAPA Best New Waterpark Ride the same year.

Lake Compounce, CT
