Raven Sun Creative and Intamin Introduce a Motion Simulator, Drop Tower, and 3D Experience in One

Middle Grove, NY, USA — Raven Sun Creative and Intamin Amusement Rides are proud to be presenting their revolutionary new ride system, the Ultra Tower, at this year’s International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Designed with the goal of making a topflight, signature immersive attraction accessible to a wider range of destinations, the Ultra Tower boasts an innovative blend of cutting-edge technology, a small footprint, an affordable price point, and almost limitless potential for unique storytelling, theming, and customization.

The Ultra Tower’s revolutionary patented design combines a motion-based ride vehicle mounted to a programmable variable speed drop tower, and integrated 3D high-definition media to create an immersive, indoor, sensory experience.

“We’re especially proud of what the Ultra Tower represents in terms of innovation,” says Louis Alfieri, Principal and Chief Creative Officer of Raven Sun Creative. “Not only does the ride system bring together the most compelling elements of motion simulators and drop towers in an exciting way, it also offers an elegant, affordable solution for clients seeking a world-class attraction that is cost-effective. The Ultra Tower is ready to deliver the clients’ story to the guests in a rich, unique, and unlimited way.”

Created and patented by Raven Sun and engineered by Intamin, the Ultra Tower is the product of a collaboration that also involved an extended team of top industry players, including The Third Floor Inc., Framestore, Electrosonic, LA ProPoint, The Rialto Group, Visual Terrain, and LeffBrain Creative Consulting. By leveraging many decades of industry expertise, the Ultra Tower team devised a ride system that couples cutting-edge technological sophistication with the value of minimal infrastructure, robust technology, and reduced maintenance costs.

The Ultra Tower team works closely with clients to ensure seamless customization and installation, offering the highest level of creative and technical services, from initial concept design to site integration. A wide range of options, including 2K and 4K – 3D media, 4D in-vehicle effects, randomized ride programming, and flexible ride narratives, make the Ultra Tower a complete solution ready to become an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind destination experience.

Guests can view an Ultra Tower scale model and media reel at the Intamin Amusement Rides booth (#3723) at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2015 at the Orange County Convention Center from Tuesday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 20.
