Santa Clarita, CA, USA — SimEx-Iwerks opened two brand new 4-D Theaters this July and August–Madame Tussauds Hollywood and the Museum of Science, Boston. Featuring the latest in 3-D technology and custom special effects, these theaters have taken 4-D Experiences to a whole new level
Madame Tussauds Hollywood features Marvel Super Heroes 4-D with a custom, fully themed pre-show including interactive photo opportunities with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and more! The 4-D Experience, which premiered on July 10th, is more immersive than ever with our latest high-tech, laser FX lighting package that transports you right into the core of the action sequences.
General Manager, Colin Thomas, says, “What a great addition to Hollywood! To be a top tourist destination, Hollywood needs new world-class, memorable experiences. I am positive our new 4-D Theater will continue to allow us to serve as a top destination for both tourists and locals alike!”
One month later, the Museum of Science, Boston opened a new state-of-the-art 4-D Theater experience. Previously a 3-D Theater, the Museum was looking for a new and dynamic experience for their guests. The space was fully reconstructed to prepare for this new, spectacular attraction and open to the public in four short months! SimEx-Iwerks expanded on the standard model of 4-D by incorporating several new special FX designs such as our all-new LED, colored wall lighting system that provides an immersive, peripheral enhancement to the visuals.
