Six Flags New England Goes Loopy Over Fireball

Agawam, MA, USA — Six Flags New England, the “Coaster Capital of New England”, has officially launched their new giant looping roller coaster, Fireball.

Fireball, the park’s 12th coaster, offers more adrenaline and thrills as the theme park continues to introduce the latest in ride technology for its guests in New England. Fireball is the first attraction to be added to the park’s Rockville Area since 1997 and will offer epic loops and extreme ride elements for guests of all ages.

Fireball adds a unique ride experience to Six Flags New England featuring:

A looping coaster seating 24 passengers in face-to-face positions;

A pendulum style takeoff with multiple 360⁰ revolutions;

The giant, looping coaster is located in the Rockville area with 1950’s theming;

An additional 360⁰ revolution when the train reverses mid-course;

Height of over seven-stories;

An approximate two-minute ride time.

To celebrate Fireball’s grand opening, the park has added a new eatery in the Rockville Area, “The Filling Station”. Park guests can experience a brand new food item with twist exclusively sold at Six Flags New England – the Conewich. The Conewich is an edible bagel cone that can be filled with a variety of delicious options including brisket, pork and macaroni and cheese. This new featured item is expected to be a summer must-have and an instant favorite amongst park guests.

To continue Fireball’s commencement, guests were also be invited to step back in time with a Car Expo on May 21 & May 22. Dozens of classic cars were display including ‘58 Caddy, ‘57 Corvette Convertible, ‘64 Corvette and a ‘51 Pontiac. Event goers also experienced the original DeLorean featured in the 1985 classic film “Back to the Future” at the Six Flags New England Car Expo. The park also had an exclusive display of the DeLorean, official “Back to the Future” memorabilia and the VW Bus from the iconic movie.
