Sky Trail Wisconsin Offering Free Admission to First Responders in June

Milwaukee, WI, USA – Sky Trail Wisconsin Adventure Zone is recognizing first responders for their service in protecting life and property with free admission from June 5-30, 2016, Sundays through Fridays. First responders include active duty police officers, fire fighters, military men and women, EMS and TSA personnel.

A 10% discount for up to six additional guests is included to enjoy their choice of attractions with the first responder.

“We want to thank our law enforcement officials and first responders who work hard in our community,” states Caitlin Hogue, Sky Trail Wisconsin Manager. “We thought what better way to honor these individuals – a memorable experience on our ropes course and zip line!”

The first responders’ promotion was put into motion in response to the uproar over Transportation Security Administration (TSA) departments in recent weeks.

“Our administration headquarters is in Michigan. We travel by plane all the time and see firsthand how stressful a career as a TSA agent must be,” said Bret Hyler, Sky Trail Management & Development Operations Manager. “It made us realize how lucky we are to be in the business of FUN and we wanted to share that with those most worthy – the people who provide emergency services to the public.”

In order to participate, active first responders, military and TSA personnel must present a valid job specific photo ID at the ticket counter to collect their wristband. Badges are accepted, but they must be accompanied by a valid photo ID.

Sky Trail Wisconsin is located inside the Milwaukee County Zoo. The four-story Sky Trail® ropes course attraction also features a 500ft. spanning zip line and a Sky Tykes® ropes course for kids under 4ft. tall.  Adventure-seekers of all ages can experience the swinging beams, cargo nets and rope ladders of varying levels of difficulty.
