Space Shuttle Enterprise Arrives in New York City

New York City, NY, USA (April 27, 2012) — After three weather delays, the space shuttle orbiter Enterprise finally made the flight today on a 747 transport from the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport near Washington DC to John F Kennedy Airport in New York City.  It is scheduled to be moved by barge to its new home at the Intrepid Air, Sea, and Space Museum in June.
