Teetering on the Edge

InPark Correspondent Edward Wills received the lucky opportunity to experience the new Edge Walk attraction at Toronto’s CN Tower (while Editor Martin Palicki watched from the relative comfort of the observation deck’s Edge Walk live TV). The hour-long experience starts with a briefing and safety checks before ascending the tower for a 30-minute circular tour around the ledge. During the tour, Edward inched towards the edge, performed a back lean and a courageous forward-facing lean… All of which you can see for yourself in this short video.

The video and photos (while edited by InPark) weren’t made special for us. Every participant receives a DVD of their experience and photos in digital and print format to share, as well as admission to the rest of the tower’s attractions, which include a (comparatively mundane) observation deck, glass floor area, 3d film and motion simulator. Spaces for the Edge Walk are limited and extremely popular. Plan in advance, especially if you are visiting Toronto for only a limited time. www.cntower.ca.
