The Producers Group Gold Level Sponsor of AAE, Asia’s Top Themed Entertainment Trade Event

Los Angeles, CA, USA — The Producers Group LLC (TPG) is a Gold Level sponsor of the IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo (AAE), 5-8 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The AAE conference brings together developers and creative service providers. It is considered the top trade event for the themed entertainment industry in Asia.

“We are honored to partner with IAAPA, a global leader and advocate for the attractions industry, in their international outreach,” says Edward Marks, TPG co-CEO. “Asia – China in particular – is a key growth market for themed entertainment. We look forward to creating new relationships at AAE, and adding more Asian projects to our portfolio.”

The Producers Group LLC has been actively involved in the production of several notable, recent attractions in Asia, including Crane Dance at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore (recipient of a 2012 Thea Award), and The Fortune Diamond and Wishing Crystals at Galaxy Casino in Macau – all designed by Jeremy Railton and Entertainment Design Corporation. “Asian developers favor integrated resorts that combine multiple attractions with hospitality and retail – and in those attractions, they want to see high-end spectacle, new uses of technology and innovative design,” says Bob Chambers, TPG co-CEO.

“Asia’s unique projects are creating new business and creative models in themed entertainment,” adds Marks. “Custom, one-off, large-scale endeavors of this kind call for a specialized attraction producer to successfully coordinate the different elements and honor the design vision while keeping construction and budget on track from start to finish.”

Edward Marks and Bob Chambers of TPG will attend the AAE conference to meet clients and conduct business. “Unique attraction production is our business niche,” comments Chambers. “IAAPA’s AAE is the perfect venue for a company wanting to be active at the forefront of the industry today.”
