Tippett Studio is doing full media production for a new multi-dimensional theater dark ride for Wanda Group’s new theme park in Guangzhou, China. Scheduled to open in 2019, the project is going to be the biggest and most complex project Wanda has created to date.
The storyline will be based on a well known IP in China, but a title has not yet been announced. The 4 minute, 30 second ride will have elements of a dark ride, roller coaster, 5D theater, dome components, all based on a 6 DOF motion base.
The attraction marks Tippett’s first foray into dark rides.
